NEW Recipe: Oven Subs

Our family has certain recipes that we make whenever
we have company over. They're always easy and delicious!

Here's one of our favorites:
OVEN SUBS!
Believe it or not, they're even better than they look!

Here's how to make a Classic Oven Sub:
Start with 1 loaf of French bread.

Slice it in half.

Butter both sides.

Sprinkle both sides with Italian Seasoning,
black pepper and garlic salt.

Place 5 slices of American cheese on the top half.

Layer 6 slices of Provolone cheese on top of that.

Cover bottom half with sliced deli ham.

Put sliced deli turkey on top of that.

Place open-faced onto cookie sheet.
{2 full sandwiches are pictures above.}
Bake at 375* for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.

Remove from oven and let cool slightly (2-3 minutes).

Close the halves together.

Cut into slices and serve. (Makes approx. 6 servings)

Refrigerate any leftovers. They're delicious cold, too!
I'll be posting a variation of it later this week so stay tuned. =)
